Rock-a-bye Moon |
| Private Collection of AGB |
| This piece developed from an image within my mind of a mother cradling her baby, hands clasped behind the baby's head, faces towards each other. The title comes from the rocking movement which is such an intimate and calming experience between mother and infant. I carved the sculpture in translucent Italian stone to provide the feeling that the mother and baby are being bathed in the surrounding moonlight as they hold each other, nearly as one, in love. |
